This week Kross weighs a little over 4 pounds and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.
He is so active now and I feel every move he makes. Sometimes it can be a little uncomfortable, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! He still gets the hiccups about 4 to 5 times a day.
I just got home from the gym and although it feels great to work out, it's getting very tough...especially in our step class. I'm going to try to keep going as long as I can.
These belly pics are at 33 1/2 weeks.
