• Weight: 18.5 lbs, 60th percentile
Length: 28.75 in, 96th percentile
Head circumference: 17.75 cm, 79th percentile
• Wear size 3 Huggies diapers. We are still having major issues with tee tee out of the diaper at night. Mommy changes your sheets several times a week!
• Wear size 6-9 month, 9 month, and some 12 month clothing depending on the brand.
• You go to bed pretty early around 7:30 and wake up for a middle of the night feeding. Then you wake up for the day really early between 5:00 and 6:30. You take about three naps a day for an hour or two. You get too cranky if we try to make bedtime any later and will not drink your nighttime bottle, so we have to get it to you by about 7:15.
• You are eating baby food now and have two servings a day. The doctor told us we can add another feeding and that should help cut out your nighttime feeding. You like rice cereal with apples, oatmeal with apples or pears, bananas, carrots, and sweet potatoes. This is all we’ve tried so far since you just started eating baby food about a month ago.
• You love to click your tongue and make noises with your mouth.
• You also grab everything with your hands. You will pull your paci out and turn it around to chew the back of it. You are chewing, chewing, and chewing whatever you can grab!
• You have two bottom teeth and those came in a week or two ago. You love to rub your tongue on them and you show them to us when you grin really big! It almost looks like there may be some top teeth on the way soon. The bottom two were very rough on you and made drinking a bottle hurt bad for several days! The teething tablets seemed to help some.
• You growl! It sounds like a little animal.
• You have discovered your feet and you kick, kick, kick them almost like you’re trying to run.
• You arch your back really big and can scoot yourself several feet away – almost like you are crawling on your back!
• You love to tap your feet in the bathtub and splash the water. Mommy always says “Tap, tap, tap, tap!” and you love it and smile so big!
• You’re extremely ticklish and will belly laugh when we tickle your neck, sides, and inside your legs.
• Playing peek-a-boo or hearing Mommy roar like a lion also makes you belly laugh!
• You think you’re so big when we stand you up. Every night I let you stand in front of the mirror naked and you do a little dance. We shake your booty and drop it low! You smile the whole time.
• You like to pat everything with your hands – my hands, arms, legs, tables and pretty much any surface.
• Daddy and I laugh at you when you wake up from naps because you jibber jabber and then you will stare at the camera in your room like you’re looking right at us. Maybe you’re just waiting for a picture to be taken, LOL!
• Daddy is your favorite person to fall asleep on. He says you like the contour of his body, LOL!
• You have the most infectious smile! I love it and it’s always so big. Sometimes you’ll curl your little tongue and it is the cutest thing ever!
• Your brother tells us he loves you and can’t wait until you are more mobile and can play with him. He also says how cute you are!
• We’re still working on sitting up. You can do it for a few seconds and then you roll to the side. The doctor says bigger babies take longer and you’re a big, healthy baby!
• You are very happy and content almost always as long as you can see everybody and be in the middle of everything.
