On Friday, Kross woke up at 3:30 with a high fever and was screaming that he was burning up. I didn't know whether to cancel Krew's two appts for that day or keep them. Luckily Nini stayed home from work and she and Pappaw kept Kross. Krew went to get the rest of six month well-check shots on Friday and then we went straight over to his appt with the opthamologist. They dilated his eyes to take a better look. They said this would either make him really fussy because he wouldn't be able to focus up close or he'd go to sleep because the light would hurt his eyes. It did neither. He was just so good. The doctor said his eyes are fine. She said that some babies with broader noses and smaller eyes sometimes appear to have crossed eyes but don't really. She said his eyes are still growing and his muscles are still working and strengthening. On the plus side, everyone in the office had a fit over him because they thought he was so adorable and chunky!
He has another tooth coming in on the top, so that makes three teeth!
And, Momma has got to get her wisdom teeth out! The same tooth has been getting infected more and more frequently. This time it was fever and all. It has made me feel awful. I need all four of them out because I don't have room in my mouth for them. I would like to do it next month but we'll see how it goes.
And Kross was fine the next day! He just had a fever for almost a day.
