I have so much to say because we missed your 8 month post. You were in the ER and hospital and then our computer crashed shortly after. By the time it was back up, you were already 8.5 months.
-Wear size 4 diaper.
-Weigh about 20 lbs.
-Wear 9 month, 6-12 month, and some 12 month clothes. Wear 9 month and 12 month sleepers and jammies. Wear size 3 shoe, but could probably wear a 4 because your little feet are fat.
-Eat all kinds of baby food. Love people food but we had to go easy on that because your little tummy doesn’t digest it well yet.
-Have had your first ER visit on your 8 month birthday and your first ambulance ride.
-Still loves baths and we spend almost 30 minutes every night in the bathtub. You love to splash around and play.
-Love to pull up on everything and walk along the side. You will even let go and stand alone for a few seconds.
-You have started wanting to pet Allie and play with her and you giggle and laugh at her.
-You go from a having a huge smile to completely straight-faced as soon as you see a camera pointed at you.
-You switch from a Momma’s boy to a Daddy’s boy every day. It just depends who you want to cling on to that day.
-You like to wear hats. You have never pulled one off yet and we think you look so cute in them!
-You love for us to sing Patty Cake to you.
-We still love to rock you to sleep, but lately you have started to put yourself to sleep in our crib once you are tired of rocking.
-You finally have two teeth coming in at once. They aren't out enough to take a picture of but they are slowly coming out.
-We had to retrain you to sleep through the night. For some reason you thought that we should come and get you and rock you several times throughout the night when you would wake up. It took about a week but it was well worth it. You sleep anywhere from 9-12 hours a night on the weekends.
-You have seen Santa Claus but didn’t care too much for him.
-You love to ride in your stroller – whether it’s through the neighborhood or in the mall, you love it!
-You love for Daddy to bounce you – on his legs or on his knee. It totally relaxes you and will put you to sleep if you are tired.
-You have had your first bit of diaper rash. I think it’s because of this teething stuff…who says you need teeth anyway?!? You ate people food fine with your gums!
-I finally gave you your first trim. We did not take pictures because it wasn’t your first official haircut, but I had to get those hairs that were about 3 inches long off the top of your head.
Kross,
You are the light of our lives. When we see your smile every day, nothing else in the world matters except you. You make us so incredibly happy to be your parents. We love you more and more every day and you are constantly surprising us. You are the most beautiful baby and we thank God every day for making us your parents! We are so lucky!
Love Always,
Mommy and Daddy
