Fourth of July

We spent the Fourth of July in Texas City with my parents. We had alot of fun but our visit went way too fast! I was able to get my hair done and Kevin played golf while Ganny babysat Kross on Friday. (We have decided on the name 'Ganny' without the r in it because Nana just didn't fit.) Kross loves his Ganny and Pappaw so much. She sings songs to him and Pappaw gets his toes. Pappaw was also showing him how to play baseball, because Ganny says football is too dangerous! Friday night we went out in Galveston with Lexi and Chad. Saturday my Dad barbequed and we just stayed around the house. Their neighbors shot off fireworks that night.

Before we left, we discovered that Kross does not like the "moo cow" noise. This is what happens.

A lady at work gave me some cow ears, but they look more like bunny ears here because I wasn't sure how cow ears looked until Kevin told me. Look at that face he is giving Ganny!

Allie and Daddy. She was scared of the loud noise when the fireworks would go off. At first she would bark, then cry, and she was doing a little bit of shaking too.
